Servant Leadership

The Biblical calling to be servant leaders has always been counter-cultural. But it has unique urgency for us today as we help our communities navigate many changes, especially losses of membership and cultural status. We can be much tempted by self-doubt and the anxious activity brought on by crippling comparisons to the gifts and ministries of others. John’s poised, joyful response – that Man must increase! I am very happy to decrease – to his anxious ministry team is a compelling picture of the way of true servant leadership that our servant leadership calling at 1Life will be curating towards.
