A Strange New World: New Testament Reading and Discussion Group
Please note: we are now full. Please contact 1Life if you’d like to have a N.T. reading group hosted in your church
Join the spiritual oasis of a monthly discussion group for an unhurried discussion about the tender, tough, and even strange claims of the New Testament. Jesus didn’t come, after all, to answer the questions we thought were most important! With the help of an artful, engaging textbook, and the insights of fellow readers, participants will learn again what it means to remain in the company of Jesus, especially in tumultuous times.
First time or long-time readers of the N.T. equally welcome! LDN alumni may find this group a particularly needful time of refreshment and re-connection
- Facilitator: Wilma van der Leek (MA, Regent College; BC LDN)
- Location: 1Life learning hub, Fleetwood CRC (9165 160th St. Surrey)
- Schedule: to be decided by the cohort (likely first Monday evening of the month, October-May)
- Target Audience: council members; small group leaders; all in need of spiritual refreshment and grounding in scripture; LDN alumni especially welcome
