The biblical call to do justice is something that we as Christians strive to live out. However, we can get easily overwhelmed when trying to address too much at once, when programs are vague and unsustainable, or when issues are so complex that it seems like our efforts are merely ‘a drop in the bucket’.
In this workshop Rachel and Cindy will unpack how the Bible talks about peace, justice and mercy, identify how exploitive structures cause injustice, and explore how advocacy reconciliation can bring change and healing when injustice has been done. They will conclude with open discussion on the assets that are already in your local communities that you can build on to develop your own action plans, embodying the call to be peacemakers and doers of justice.
