Contemplative Evening Prayer

“My heart says of God, Seek his face!

Your face, LORD, I will seek”

(Ps. 27:8)

Join the 1Life learning hub team for a quiet oasis of seeking God’s face in scripture, conversation & song. Allow the Sabbath to arrive early. This will be a participatory hour of prayer where listening & stillness are valued.

Prayers, songs & liturgies adapted from various sources including the Iona community, Porter’s Gate & Every Moment Holy. The Revised Standard Lectionary will direct our scripture reading.

No registration required and drop-ins are welcome but if possible, please let our team know so our hospitality can reflect our numbers.

Please note: this will be a repeating event, first Saturday of the month (January 6, February 3, March 2, April 6, May 4, June 1). Doors open at 6:30 pm for those who would like a cup of tea or more time in the quiet.
