DESCRIPTION:First CRC Vancouver is hosting a Reimagining Church Properties Conference on Tuesday\, March 12 and Wednesday\, March 13. Tuesday evening\, 7 pm\, is also a stand-alone lecture called Church Redevelopment & Reconciliation: An Indigenous & Settler Perspective with Keynote lecturer Adrian Jacobs\, Senior Leader for Indigenous Justice and Reconciliation (in the CRC Canada). Resonate Western Mission is also a sponsor. \nI know this seems much more like a big city issue then some of the other places CRCs are located across BC\, but with BC’s Bill 44 on Housing Statutes coming in June\, there might be some churches all around the province who are located nearby transit hubs and might be impacted by new questions around stewarding our spaces.
