SUMMARY:A Strange New World: ON-LINE New Testament Reading and Discussion Group
DESCRIPTION:Please note: all in-person N.T. reading groups now full. Please contact Wilma van der Leek if you’d like to sign up for the Spring 2024 ON-LINE N.T. reading group or to find out more about joining/hosting a Fall 2024 Old Testament reading group \nJoin the spiritual oasis of a monthly discussion group for an unhurried discussion about the tender\, tough\, and even strange claims of the New Testament. Jesus didn’t come\, after all\, to answer the questions we thought were most important! With the help of an artful\, engaging textbook\, and the insights of fellow readers\, participants will learn again what it means to remain in the company of Jesus\, especially in tumultuous times. \nFirst time or long-time readers of the N.T. equally welcome! LDN alumni may find this group a particularly needful time of refreshment and re-connection \n\nFacilitator: Wilma van der Leek (MA\, Regent College; BC LDN)\nLocation: Online\nSchedule: Starting Monday\, January 22\, every 4th Monday of the month\, ending on Monday\, June 24\nTarget Audience: council members; small group leaders; all in need of spiritual refreshment and grounding in scripture; LDN alumni especially welcome\n\nFor more info\, contact Wilma at wilma@crc1life.ca
