SUMMARY:Let's Talk About It: On-line Zoom Conversation Group
DESCRIPTION:  \nJoin us for a conversation about the November issue of Christian Courier! Can we live with unresolved tensions? As a nation? As individuals? As Christians? Consider the tensions between nation-building and the environment as discussed in the cover article “Canada’s Prosperity Plan” and in the new CC editors’ expressed commitment to living with “competing hopes.” \nFor Christian Courier online\, go to: https://www.christiancourier.ca \nIt’s great to read Christian Courier online\, but we also recommend it as a physical paper you can hold in your hands. Consider subscribing to Christian Courier today! If your church is interested in having paper copies\, please reach out here.  \n  \nFor more info & a Zoom link\, contact: nvlettinga@yahoo.ca \nFacilitators: Neil & Virginia Lettinga

SUMMARY:The End of Youth Ministry?
DESCRIPTION:Our world has changed dramatically in the past several years. The pandemic\, the political climate\, the explosion of AI\, and the overall pace of life are just some of the factors that have altered our daily routines\, including how and when we gather as a church community. \nWhile congregations have had to adapt their ministries to respond to these changing contexts\, youth ministry is an area that has notably struggled. In addition to seeing a decline in the number of participating youth\, many churches are finding that their historical methods no longer seem to be having a meaningful impact on students’ lives. \nFacilitator: Rick Zomer\, Thrive Faith Formation Ministry Consultant\,
