SUMMARY:Circle of Grace Training
DESCRIPTION:Circle of Grace is a Christian safe environment curriculum used and promoted in the CRCNA that helps teach the value of positive relationships with God and others. Circle of Grace educates and empowers children and young people to actively participate in a safe environment both for themselves and with others. \nIt is never too early to help children understand how they are created in the image of God and how\nrelationships in life are called to be sacred. Understanding this can help children and youth protect\nthemselves\, while at the same time be respectful of and toward others. \nCircle of Grace helps children and youth know how to: \n\nIdentify and maintain appropriate physical\, emotional\, spiritual\, and sexual boundaries.\nRecognize when boundary violations are about to occur.\nDemonstrate how to take action when boundaries are threatened or violated.\n\nKey Concepts of Circle of Grace: \n\nGod gives each of us a Circle of Grace where God is present.\nGod is present because God desires a relationship with us.\nGod helps us know what belongs in our Circle of Grace & what does not belong in our Circle of Grace.\nGod helps us know when to ask for help from someone we trust.\n\nNote: Circle of Grace is intended to supplement a K-12 church education curriculum for 1-4 weeks per year. Teachers can often draw from the concepts throughout the year embedding them into your child/youth ministry. \n*Safe Church ministry will support each church in establishing Circle of Grace into your current curriculum. \nView the CIRCLE of GRACE Introduction Video \nContact info: \n\nLiz Tolkamp: ltolkamp@crcna.org  604-996-3183\nFaye Martin: Faye@bcsafechurch.com 604-850-5137

SUMMARY:1Life Foundations: Called to Faith Formation – from information to formation
DESCRIPTION:1Life Foundations will be offered on-line to a cohort of participants committed to attending the six workshops and sharing what they’ve learned with their communities. The strength of the on-line format is that it lets us build a province wide learning community with equal access\, while creating appetite for the in-person community best nourished in the local church. Between workshops\, participants are requested to spend time in prayer and reflection with what they have engaged.
